The Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday went wonderfully!  It was great to see so many excited faces passing through the library.   Many of you asked how you could help with the library and with donations this year, and to that end, I've posted a Wish List on this website.  We welcome all age-appropriate donations, new and gently used, hardback and paperback, but f you'd like ideas on where to get started, please see the Wish List section of our website, found here.

Well, the library is getting ready for our school opening on August 11, and I am so excited! In July, we received a shipment of over 2,500 brand-new books, and thanks to the hard work of our dedicated parents, we were able to get them all on the shelves in less than three hours! Way to go, everyone, and thank you!


Since that time, I've been working on getting the library cleaned and decorated.  There's still plenty of work to be done, but it's off to a good start. Please feel free to stop by any time in the coming days to take a look at your new library!
